Groups 2.5
Players are fairly consistent when hitting medium-paced shots. Most common doubles formation is one up, one back. This is not a beginner group.
Competitive Group 3.0 plus
Players must have a strong serve, including directional control and depth on both forehand and backhand sides on moderate shots. Additional skills required include the ability to use lobs, overheads, approach shots, and volleys with some success.
Advanced Players 3.5 plus
Advanced players must have a consistent stroke with directional control on moderate shots. Players exhibit more aggressive net play, have improved court coverage, and are developing teamwork in doubles.
